• By signing up as a Petplan Bonus Breeder, you will be eligible to give your new owners free insurance for their puppy or kittens.
• Registration is free
• There is minimal paperwork
• Instant puppy/kitten policies protect the owner for 6 weeks, as soon as you register the pet. (Pet must be registered when the owner comes to retrieve their new 'family member')
• Breeder will accrue 15 points for each puppy/kitten sold. (150 points = one $10 Coles Myer Voucher)
• Breeder will accrue an additional 100 bonus points if the owner wishes to convert to an annual policy.

Petplan Preferred Breeder Bonus Scheme Terms and Conditions

• Be a New Zealand resident who is a member in good standing with the NZ Kennel Club or recognised Cat Associations and breeds purebred dogs or kittens on either a full or part time basis.
• Sell your purebred puppies or kittens directly to puppy/kitten owners and not through a secondary party or broker.
• Petplan reserves the right in its absolute discretion and without giving any reason to refuse any application for the Petplan Preferred Breeder Bonus Scheme or to cancel or withdraw any membership.
• Upon approval, you will receive your personalised Breeder Registration Number as your assigned Breeder identification number.
